A project support officer (F / M) for the implementation of an on-line correction system for the European Baccalaureate session Protected content .
BAC Protected content the domain of computer science, engineering, statistics, sciences (Maths / Physics), business or management studies.
Knowledge of the European School system and teaching experience in IT or Mathematics will be an asset.
Language skills: You are a native speaker or have near-native proficiency in either English or French written and oral. Moreover, you have at least a good working level (C1 of the CEFR) of another European language (Preferably English, French or German).

•Experience of working on IT projects
•Ability to analyse and present information
IT skills: High degree of computer literacy and willingness and skills to learn new programs quickly. The following will be very much valued:
•Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel)
•Business Objects / Business Intelligence
•On-line correction systems (especially Viatique by Neoptec)
The main objective will be to support the Project Managers and Project Team in the co-ordination, planning and control of the project. The project support officer will ensure that the implementation of the project runs smoothly, meeting all deadlines.
Document all implementation processes.
Manage the implementation calendar and make sure that deadlines are met.
Manage the set up and configuration of the on-line correction administrative module. Empower the European Baccalaureate Unit staff members to take control of all set-up and control operations.
Liaise with the IT Unit at the Office of the Secretary General in order to make sure a secure and efficient transfer of data between different management systems
Liaise with the supplier and staff in charge of first level escalation issues (IT and administrative staff at the schools)
Participation in training actions for teachers and administrative staff.
You will work under the responsibility of the Head of the European Baccalaureate Unit and the Head of the IT Unit.
The work station is situated at the Office of the Secretary General of the European Schools, Rue de la Science 23. Brussels.
You must have availability to travel to the different European Schools and Accredited Schools.
The working week will be from Monday to Friday for 37,5 hours.
The contract will be for six months, starting on the 11th of January Protected content a possibility of extension: your commitment, your ability to adapt to the European School system and your potential for further development will be decisive.
Monthly gross salary : 3.942,68 € minimum.
