Public Talk: a Tibetan Buddhist take on emotions (Brussels)

Hi,
I am hosting Lama Jigmé Namgyal, a rare opportunity to become acquainted with a Tibetan Lama and the Tantric Buddhist tradition.
He will address one of the major struggles we face today:
living outside of our bodies and in a stressed lifestyle, how do we deal with emotions?

Lama Jigmé Namgyal was born in a nomad family in Tibet. The villagers call him Little Buddha. He studied from a young age with revered masters, at the renowned university of Serthar Larung Gar, a.o. with Sakya Trizin and H.H. the Dalai Lama.
After fleeing Tibet, traveling through the Himalayas for 6 weeks at night time, over Nepal & India, he made his way to Europe. With the support of a small sangha, Lama Jigmé has established two modest centers in Rotterdam and Luxemburg, with a retreat in Costa Rica in the making and a foundation to support the nomad lifestyle and community in Tibet&Nepal.

Donation of min. 5€, to be handed over directly & 100% to Lama Jigmé, to continue his teachings and humanitarian work in Tibet (where the situation is really bad again for the moment).
If you bring a mug, we'll happily serve tea. Possible shortage of chairs & cushions (please inform if you need a chair so we reserve can you one; if you have a meditation cushion feel free to bring it along.

Feb 8, 7:15PM, St Gilles (address will be communicated upon reservation)
You are very welcome to join or spread the word or contact me to stay informed of future events.

x Veronique
