Visa from US to Brussels

Salut!

My husband and I are working on filling out an application, and all of the pieces that accompany it, to apply for a long-term visa to Brussels, Belgium.

We are having trouble figuring out how to get a medical certificate filled out and notarized when most doctor's offices do not have a notary.

Wondering if folks might have advice from their experience?
