Visiting Floriade 2012 – World Horticultural Expo (Brussels)

We visit a fair number of gardens, so when we heard about the World Horticultural Expo in Venlo, NL it piqued our interest, especially as it only happens every 10 years. Unlike the typical garden festivals that happen each spring, this event is much more expo than gardens. It was a great day with lots to do. It's only 2 hrs from Brussels, so a nice day trip, especially nice if you pack a picnic (with a bottle of wine)!
