Audio School Bucharest starts Basic Audio Class


Audio School Bucharest will start in week 19 with the Basic Audio Class.
This class is intended for those people who want to learn the basics of audio and audio systems, for instance used at presentations, music events and home audio.
At the end of this class you will have more insight in how the different systems work and will prevent you from hiring the wrong equipment so your presentation, music event or home audio set will fit your expectation.
Also you will be able to locate the course of a failure in a system without hiring external people.
The class consists of eight sessions from one hour taking place twice a week in the evening between 20:00 and 21:00.
The costs of the complete class are € 99,-
The number of participants is limited from 10 up to 15 persons, so personal attention and study tempo is guaranteed.
The class will be given in one of the conference rooms of Amerilex and is situated at: 11A Fabrica de Glucoza Street , first floor, Protected content .

• North Sea Jazz Festival: The Rosenberg Trio featuring Stephane Grappelli. ( sinti gypsy music like Django Reinhardt ). Michel Petrucciani ( jazz ).
• Touring: The Rosenberg Trio with Frits Landesbergen, Eddy Conard, Ellen Helmus ( Gipsy jazz and standards ), Tom Parker and his New London Choir with several artists and Vicky Brown ( big orchestra with band and huge choir )

Dubbing movies in own studio as producer, engineer, casting director:

BASIC AUDIO CLASS
Sessions:
1. What is sound and how do we capture it, and how do we translate sound into a medium that makes it possible to manipulate.

2. How do we amplify sound.

3. What is a setup for a sound system.

4. What is a microphone and what types are there.

5. What is a speaker, and what kind of systems are there.

6. What is a mixer and for what do we need it.

7. What types of cables are there and how do we use them.

8. What kind of plugs are there and for what are they used.

For the sessions you will need a writing pad and a pen to make notes.
Handouts will be given during the sessions.
