Which location is better? Who can help me? :-) (Bucharest)

Hi everybody,
I'm coming to Bucharest in June only for 3 days and found 2 hotels I like but each in different area. I can't figure out from reviews which is the "center", the best area to stay for such a short visit.
I would really appreciate your help. Obviously, I want the area with most of the sight-seeing in walking distance and restaurants, shops and such.
One is the "duke hotel" in 33 dacia bvd.
The second one is "hotel trianon" in cobalcescu grigore 9.
They are 15 min. Walking distance from each other (sounds a lot to me if I'm staying on the "wrong side" and would have to walk that length each time).
Thanks again so much for your help and I promise to return a favor if you need any recommendations for tel-aviv, Amsterdam or Bangkok.
