The Irish Saint’s Patricks's Day Parade Committee in Brussels has decided to introduce a new international dimension to its festivities. The Committee will recognise in its festival programme the country that holds EU Presidency in March of each year. We propose to have an Irish-Hungarian Carnival Party on the 10 March as part of the second Saint Patrick’s Guinness Irish Festival of Brussels. One of the main aims of the Parade and festival is to promote integration in Brussels between the local and international community.
Any one regardless of nationality is welcome to join our Irish-Hungarian steering group.
We would also like to hear about Hungarian musicians and dancers in Brussels and to hear from Hungarians and Hungarian cultural organisations who wish to share their cultural heritage with us in Brussels at our party. Any who can help is asked to write to Protected content
It will be a great multi cultural party and we will be able to have up Protected content a super festival club venue at the Aloft Schuman Hotel. So please let your Hungarian Friends or any friends in Brussels know about our plans.
