Banking in BA (Buenos Aires)

How does an expat do it?

Hi! I'm Amber and I'll be arriving in BA in October. I understand that the currency conversion issues are making it difficult to gain/use USD down there. If I have and am making USD that are being held in a US or online bank, how do I go about paying for things (like rent, right?) that require USD?

What is the best bank to use and how best should I manage any USD I have?
