Pesos to Sterling (Buenos Aires)

Hi All,

I am relocating to BA in January with my company and was wondering if anybody could clarify the situation on taking sterling out of the country. I know there is a cap on dollars but is this also the case with pound sterling? If I have a global bank account, is it possible to transfer from my peso account to my sterling account?
