BBQ Help! (Cairo)

Hello, we were told that our Canadian BBQ could be converted for the use of the tanks in Egypt. Since we arrived we have not been able to find the fittings to convert it and no one seems to know when we ask.
Is there anyone out there that had a similar issue, what were the solutions and/or does anyone know where to go to find the necessary parts?
Unfortunately we couldn't bring ourselves to leave it behind, and thankful we didn't now that we have seen the prices of BBQ's here.
I appreciate all the help I can get.
