Introduction to the new British Consul in Cairo

All British nationals are invited to join us and the Embassy / Consulate team at the BCA Maadi on Sunday 9th October from 7.00pm.

The main purpose of the evening is to welcome John Neil HM's new British Consul to Cairo, but at the same time for John to update us on other important Embassy / Consulate / FCO issues.
Subjects that will be covered are as follows:
- Passport awareness.
- Emphasising the need for a valid visa to avoid potential arrest and deportation.
- The security situation in the country update and advice BNs to register with and follow FCO travel advice.

- General information on type of assistance the embassy and consulate can offer in case of hospitalisations, arrests.

- Changes to Notarial and Documentary services and possible further future reductions.

- Travel Insurance

No entry will be charged for those attending and complimentary light refreshments to be served from 7.00pm.
