Sorry for such a morbid topic but, we're British ex-pats that brought our dog with us to Cairo a few years ago. He's very elderly and likely to pass away soon, we aren't sure what options we have for him after that happens.
Having asked around it seems like the most common answer we get is having him dumped out in a desert by a vet...it doesn't seem like the kindest or most respectful send off we could offer him. I would like to try to do something other than that for the kind little soul that has been a part of our family for over 14 years.
After living here for a while I'm aware that the concept of pet cemeteries may not be a popular one but it was what we had wanted for him when we lived in the UK.
I had a look around online and only found one result for Gezira Sporting club but they no longer accept new burials, are there any others in Cairo that anyone is aware of?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
