To Buy or Not To Buy--- THAT Is the Question (Cairo)

Living in Nozha, outside Heliopolis, I am spending lots and lots of EGP on taxi's. I'm thinking of buying a car. I'd also have to hire a Driver since I'm not brave enough to drive in Egypt (OMG). I feel as if I'm paying so much out in Taxi's for round-trip excursions that I should just go ahead and buy a dang car.
I'd be interested in buying into a car/driver group or something of that nature also. In fact, I'd prefer to simply have a reliable car service that didn't try to drain me dry of cash. Any suggestions?
