Using the metro for first time (Cairo)

Hello,
I'm trying to use the Metro for my first time. I'm familiar with the metro in Chicago in America, but certainly not in Egypt! I have the website for the stations, but if I want to go from Masr al Gadida to Hadayek al Maadi, how do I go please? I need as many tips as I can get !
