Women's Clothing (Cairo)

I am moving to Cairo in October to work. I would like to know what the expectations are regarding ladies clothing. Are short sleeved blouses acceptable or do they have to be long sleeves to cover the entire arm? Are knee lengh skirts accepted or do ladies need to wear trousers or ankle length skirts? I want to make sure I bring the appropriate clothing for both work (in a school) and for weekends.

Also I will be provided a fully furnished apartment in Zamelek but would like to know what if any household items are not available in Cairo. I have a 70 kilo air luggage allowance.
