Possible job in Calcutta

Hi all

My husband has a possible job option in Calcutta, but I know nothing about the place.

We've lived in the UAE (inland and northern emirates) and are currently in outback Australia, so different cultures aren't new to us. We want to leave Australia since it is very expensive and too far from home (we're from Ireland), but would India but a good idea? We have five children so schooling is an issue. What is life like there for an expat?
