Southern housing (Calcutta)

Hi all,

I have been offered a position with a new international school that is being set up outside the city in the Bishnupur district of South 24 Parganas. If I take the position I will be wanting to live in a Western-style housing, preferably in an expat community and with easy access to the city center. Can anybody make some recommendations? I am under the impression that this is somewhat away from most of the new development to the northeast of town.
