Theatre Junction GRAND once again partners with HiFi Club to present the 3rd Annual ‘Alley Party’ – a block party style celebration to kick off Theatre Junction’s new Protected content season of local, national and international live contemporary arts. DJs, artists, dancers and Calgary’s arts community will be celebrating in the streets in support of the new line up of presentations at Theatre ...Junction GRAND.

WHAT:
A block party season launch event – no admission or cover!

WHERE:
The Alleyway to the right of the theatre entrance, 608, 1st Street SW

WHY:
At Theatre Junction GRAND this season, patrons will have the opportunity to encounter the work of leading contemporary artists from Canada and around the world in the fields of theatre, dance, music and more. Featured works include presentations from New York City, including a world premiere by Temporary Distortion, as well as a Canadian premiere from France. Artist Director and Theatre Junction Founder Mark Lawes and Company will present Martin Crimp’s Attempts on Her Life as well as a re-creation of Lucy Lost Her Heart that will also be a part of the season at Usine C in Montreal in March.
