IEC-Program: How do I get to a job offer? (Calgary)
International Experience Canada offers an easy opportunity for young professionals to get a work permit fo 12 months to gain work experience in Canada. I would like to apply for this program, but don´t have any idea how to get a signed letter of offer or contract of employment, which you must have before applying for the IEC (it is the most important pre-condition).
If you have any good advice or experience, how and where I could find an employer who gives a letter of offer or contract of employment, then I would appreciate your information.
I am a lawyer (studied the law in Germany) and have 9 years of work experience. I know that it would probably not be succesful to apply for a law firm in Canada, because of the different law systems. But I don´t insist on working as a lawyer - would also strike a new path.
Thank you very much!
