Should I bring my car from North Carolina (Calgary)

Hello everyone, I need some advice about engine heaters. I understand that cars sold in cold climates come equipped with block heaters or other types of heaters to enable the cars to start in very cold weather.

I have a Protected content Accord that was purchased in North Carolina. Should I bring it to Calgary, or sell it and buy a car there? What would need to be done to get it ready for Calgary winter?
