Oppotunites for Spouses (Cambridge)

I am looking for advise. I have an offer for a position in Cambridge, however, we are struggling to find a similarly comparable position for my husband. I don't feel comfortable about asking him to give up his job here in the US and risk that he won't find a position in Cambridge. We are both high-tech engineers. My husband is a systems analyst skilled in both Mechanical and Electrical systems. I'm sure others have run into and solved this same problem. Could you please share with me what you did?
