Trip to Gran Canaria (Tenerife)

Dear all,

I booked a flight to Gran Canaria for April the 18th and I will be there for almost one week. I am travelling alone.

I would really appreciate some tips (beaches, restaurant, bars, night life, and most important which is the best part of the island for booking a room or rent an apartment) and anyone of you during his/her free time (for a drink or a dinner or whatever you like).
