moving to canbera (Canberra)

Hi for all,
We are a family of 5 ,two adults and 3 kids 10 years/8yr and 4 years .
We intend to move from jakarta to Canberra and I demand how is life there? Can we adapting soon ? What can I'do when children go to school ? Are there any activities to do? What about climate?
Where to live flat or house? Wich area ?....
Am sorry because my English is bad but I need all your advices and your recommendations .
