Snowshoe hike this Sunday Sept 15th (Canberra)

Hi Everyone! I'm doing a snowshoe trip to Kosciosko this weekend Sunday. Rating of the trip will be Easy/Intermediate and there are some options with distances although the basic distance is 6km each way to a total of 12km, about half of which will be on snowshoes and the other half hiking. There is forecast to be some fresh snow over Friday and Saturday, but it's disappearing fast!!! Let me know if you'd like to join.

You will need to organise and bring your own gear, as I honestly don't know where to hire it in Canberra.

You will need snowshoes, poles, warm clothing, rain jacket (it's spring and it rains here too), a backpack with your own food and water.
You will need other hiking essentials and a good level of fitness. If you don't know what these are then this hike is not for you, sorry. I don't want to sound grumpy, but you must be prepared in the mountains in Winter conditions or you could cause yourself and others problems.

My car will fit 3 other people - first come first served :)
