Moving to Cancun area (Cancún)

Looking to retire to the area. Open to either renting a condo or house 2 bedroom 2 bath. Would lease for one year or more. How difficult is it to import my Harley motorcycle and an idea of how much tax . Protected content tail. Is it difficult to import a dog and a cat.. We looked in the area of Playa del Carman going towards Tulum. Did not get to Tulum spent too much time in Merida. Looking for some thing on or very close to the beach. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.
