Listen up! I don't know what's up with the rental agents in Cape Town. I've never experienced anything like it before, they don't respond to inquiries, even if it is to tell you the flat has been rented. In the U.S., customer service is extremely important and building name recognition is as equally important. The lack of followup on the part of the agents in Cape Town is so disappointing to me. Yet, they are all over it when its going into the low season. The same aggression they show during the low season should carry through all year round. I have been trying for months to secure accommodations, through an agency, to avoid fraud. However, I'm not having any luck working with the agents in Cape Town. I've been told that most agentsin Cape Town have poor work ethics, I wanted to prove everyone wrong. Now, based on personal experience, I have to agree!!!!
