Stellenbosch (Cape Town)

Hi all,
I recently moved to Stellenbosch, from The Netherlands.
Since I'm relatively new in Stellenbosch, I'm contacting people who live in this area and hopefully can advise me regarding activities (like in sports, mountainbiking, hockey, hiking), but also in events/a nice bar/restaurant in Stellenbosch.
Does anyone know about a club or society that I can join, to take part in activities and to meet people?

Any tip is more then welcome :)
