Our Community Management Department is responsible for supporting our volunteers around the world as they organize and host events in our 390 InterNations Communities. This includes our Changemakers and all related activities. Community Management also provides member support, and takes quality assurance measures to maintain the high quality of our website and events.
As the bridge between business strategy and software development, our Product Management Department defines our product roadmap and develops new ideas from concept to specification. They are responsible for identifying the needs of our target group, developing new features and carrying out user tests. They also ensure the visual quality and the functionality of all new features.
Engineering & Operations
Our Engineering Department consists of both frontend and backend developers, who architect, develop, and test new features for our platform. They carry out short iterations in an agile scrum environment, aiming to ship and release new features as fast and as early as possible. Our Operations Department makes sure that we have the server infrastructure in place to provide a stable website performance and that all the tools and equipment necessary for our daily work function properly.
Content & Communications
Content & Communications guards and promotes the InterNations brand — not just with words, but also with engaging videos created by our in-house videographer. Our sharp-eyed editors are responsible for all written materials, the Social Media Team keeps our followers up to date and entertained, and the PR Team charms the international media to spread the word about InterNations.
Our Online Marketing Department is responsible for growing our member base. The team makes sure that all expats looking for information online can find us and become part of our community. They run marketing campaigns on major online platforms such as Facebook and Google, and reach out to other great websites for potential cooperations.
Our Corporate Partnerships Department is responsible for managing and expanding our network of local and global advertising partners. Based on our members’ needs and interests, they identify and cooperate with companies that can offer useful services and tailored solutions to our members.
The Business Solutions Team helps companies give their employees a great expat experience. They are responsible for building an international network of business partners, creating sales opportunities for our premium membership with scale and reach. The team develops new products to make sure we’re offering something that really meets the needs of our corporate customers.
Our team members in Human Resources, Finance & Business Intelligence, and our Feel Good Manager are vital to making sure that InterNations runs smoothly. This includes managing the recruitment process, organizing opportunities for personal development, and enabling a data-driven approach to business.
