Our Community Management Department is responsible for supporting our worldwide volunteers as they organize and host events & activities in our 390 InterNations Communities. This includes managing our Volunteer Program and overseeing all related activities. Community Management also provides member support and takes quality assurance measures to maintain the high quality of our website and events.
As the bridge between business strategy and software development, our Product Management Department defines our product roadmap and develops new ideas from concept to specification. They are responsible for identifying the needs of our target group, for developing new features and for carrying out user tests. They also ensure the visual quality and the functionality of all new features.
Our Engineering Department consists of both frontend and backend developers, who architect, develop and test new features for our platform. They carry out short iterations in an agile scrum environment, aiming to ship and release new features as fast and as early as possible. Our Operations Team makes sure the server infrastructure is in place to provide a stable website performance and that all the tools and equipment necessary for our daily work function properly.
Our editors are responsible for content and copy on the InterNations website and all official company communication. This includes writing informative expat guides, publishing articles from our members, as well as updating the company blog and newsletter. Our Social Media Manager keeps our fans and followers up to date with informative and entertaining content.
Our Online Marketing Department is responsible for growing our member base. The team makes sure that all expats looking for information in the depths of the World Wide Web can find us and become part of our community. They run marketing campaigns on all big online platforms and reach out to other great websites for potential cooperations.
Our Corporate Partnerships Department is responsible for managing and expanding our network of local and global advertising partners. Based on our members’ needs and interests, they identify and cooperate with companies that can offer useful services and tailored solutions to our members.
Our team members in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Public Relations and our Feel Good Manager are vital to making sure that InterNations runs smoothly as a company. This includes managing the recruitment process, organizing opportunities for personnel development, enabling a data-driven business approach, coordinating the flow of internal company communication, and communicating with international media and PR agencies.
