About the Role

Our Engineering & Product Teams are responsible for building and maintaining applications across multiple platforms at InterNations, a community with more than 3 million global users. We build products for the web, iOS, and Android. We use Scrum and Kanban but are not afraid to borrow from other methodologies as we see fit. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced person, and applications from freelancers are also welcome.

As a member of an international, cross-functional Product & Engineering Department, you will facilitate achieving our product goals by fostering agile collaboration through the support of multiple teams in their agile processes and practices.

Your mission:
  • enable product teams to achieve their goals by helping to remove impediments, focus on priorities, and foster inter-team collaboration
  • mentor teams and individual members across the company and from all levels on agile principles and practices
  • organize and moderate regular agile team rituals to ensure continuous improvement on processes and practices to enable predictable delivery
  • coach and guide multiple teams, all working on common platforms, to achieve lean processes and fast delivery times
  • foster team self-organization and ownership of complex problems
  • inspire and foster an enthusiasm for continuous improvement, strong collaboration, and creative problem solving

Your profile:          
  • a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • excellent mentoring skills and passion to shape high-performing teams
  • solid problem-solving and active listening skills
  • solid breadth in agile methodologies and practical experience with at least two different methodologies
  • strong communication skills to collaborate smoothly with people across different business and technical domains, and is not afraid to have serious, and important discussions with CEOs and upper management
  • experience as part of a development team is a plus
  • servant leader who earns the team's respect by rolling up your sleeves to help the team succeed
  • not afraid to be a voice of reason and authority and ensures processes and principles are adhered to
  • willing to hold the team accountable to its vision and values
