About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to join the centralized Business Intelligence Department. You will work together with the team on daily tasks as well as on independent project for various departments. In this role you will understand the business needs of other teams and establish data and reporting solutions for them. The ideal candidate enjoys analyzing data, prepares it in a visually appealing way, and is able to draw conclusions from it.

As a Data Analytics Manager at InterNations, you will:
  • create new interactive dashboards, reports, and datasets in Power BI
  • collaborate closely with other teams
  • perform ad hoc analyses to enable other departments to make decisions
  • perform in-depth analyses of internal processes to find optimization potential
  • work with the data warehouse and report databases on independent projects
  • maintain and optimize the existing reports

You meet the following requirements:
  • degree in business, economics, computer science, mathematics, or related studies
  • at least two years of work experience in a similar field
  • good knowledge of web applications, databases, and SQL (ideally MySQL)
  • advanced experience with Power BI
  • ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • very good to fluent written and spoken English

You ideally also have: 
  • good knowledge of Excel
  • experience in A/B testing and statistical methods
  • good knowledge of Google Analytics
  • experience abroad and cross-cultural proficiency
