About the Role

Schedule: full-time
Our Operations Team runs external, customer-facing systems as well as our internal IT infrastructure. As a Help Desk Technician you will be on the front line of our Help Desk. We are looking for someone to join our team in Munich or remotely that not only has the technical skills to understand and fix day-to-day computer issues, but that can also exhibit a friendly customer-focused attitude both in person and on the phone.

As a Help Desk Technician at InterNations, you will:
  • respond to help desk requests via Slack and JIRA tickets to assist with first level hardware and software support
  • track all new requests to ensure they are assigned quickly and appropriately
  • chase stale requests to ensure all open tickets are closed in a timely fashion
  • oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes of new and departing employees
  • assist in any other IT help desk/infrastructure projects as need arises
You meet the following requirements:
  • 3 years experience in an IT related position
  • Microsoft Windows 10/11
  • Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • laptop and desktop hardware experience
Other preferred experience:
  • Microsoft Active Directory / Azure AD
  • Apple / MacOS
  • Atlassian JIRA / Confluence
  • mobile devices in an enterprise environment (Android, iPhone and iPad)
  • TCP/IP and other networking concepts
