Thinking of moving 3,354 miles away from DJT (Cascais)

(which just happens to be the exact distance from NYC to Cascais).
My wife Dee and I are both retired and considering a rather dramatic and permanent relocation from Baltimore. As best we can tell from innumerable Google searches the Lisbon region wins hands down in weather, arts, affordability, and health care compared to anywhere else in Europe. Cascais also usually comes out on top for places around Lisbon. Another major factor is a daily non-stop to Oslo on TAP where our children and grandchildren now live.

We are very anxious to meet and talk with like-minded people who have settled in Cascais and learn about ex-pat life and problems we may encounter relocating from the US. We arrive Cascais Wednesday November 30th and are staying at VILA GALÉ CASCAIS until we leave Portugal. We're totally on our own until Saturday Dec 3rd when we hook up with a Road Scholar tour until Saturday the 10th, although most of our evenings are free. If any of you all have the time and could join us for drinks and or dinner it would be greatly appreciated.

Also looking for a recommendation for a real estate broker to show us residences right in Cascais.
