About the role

Banking Services domain focuses on payments, switching, credit and risk decisions, sanctions, fraud and collections to enable our divisional service teams, leveraging information and strategic direction from industry as appropriate. And Payments Tech Area is responsible for transforming payments by fortifying existing platforms, simplifying and standardising processes and technology and by enabling our business through reusable end to end services
As an engineer, your role is to work with global team to develop the enterprise application to support the daily payment operation with microservice architecture and meanwhile, practice Devops to ensure the end to end delivery of the application

What you bring to the role

You will also have the following specialised skills:

Solid understanding of the software engineering principles, patterns and practices
Understanding of Agile development process and methodologies
Practical experience with Java & Scala
Solid understanding of Spring and practical experience with Springboot.
Solid understanding of the principles and practices on functional programming
Practical experience of designing and developing distributed systems
Practices of designing and developing data processing & analysing systems
Practical experience on HDFS, Hadoop & Spark.
Understanding of various databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, Hive, HBase, etc and its use case.
Understanding of application infrastructure (networks, application servers, database, integration, etc)
Understanding of CI&CD process and practices
Good communication skills
Familiar with containerization techniques (docker, containerd, etc) is a plus
Experience of Kubernetes, Openshift is a plus.
