TASTING PLEASURES - A membership based Gastronomic Tasting Program - Chennai Chapter

International Beaujolais Nouveau event in Chennai celebrated for the first time right on the 3rd Thursday of of November Protected content with other Cities Worldwide!
Tasting Pleasures supports individual and family winemakers who make their wines with all their knowledge and passion passed on through generations.

The Beaujolais Nouveau or more properly called Beaujolais Primeur which we will be tasting is made by the DESCOMBES Family who live in a village called Julie in the Beaujolais wine region of FRANCE. Since the last 3 years Mr Chinmaya Arjun Raja has been organising the Beaujolais Nouveau event in Chennai with the wines from the DESCOMBES Family made by Mr Gerard Descombes and his son Mr Sylvain Descombes. Tasting Pleasures also thanks Dr Bruno Monange of France for having introduced this winemaking family to us.
