Condolences for victims of recent terrorist attack (Chennai)

Dear members of the Chennai Community,

It is with great shock and deep regret that I have heard about the recent terrorist attack in Dhaka’s embassy district. Sadly, I have to inform you a former InterNations Ambassador in both Dhaka and Chennai is listed among the deceased as well.

Some of you may remember Claudia D’Antona, an Italian expat from Torino, from past events she hosted here in Chennai. She used to live here from Protected content Protected content moving on to Bangladesh. Claudia was a kind-hearted and generous woman, who put considerable energy and effort into making others feel at home abroad. I had the opportunity to meet her personally during a previous trip to India, and I remember her fondly for offering me a warm welcome during my stay.

Our hearts go out to her family, her loved ones, and her friends in these hard times, and on behalf of the entire InterNations Team, I’d like to express sincere condolences to all those who knew her.
