Hello Chennai

Hi All

I arrived in Chennai a couple of weeks and will be here til January. It took me awhile to find a forum like it. The city is really different to what I am used to and I am finding it hard to meet some new friends. So far from what I can see there are just a handful of places to meet people(Express Avenue and such). I am glad I found this forum and excited to attend this event on the 21th.
Just some quick questions for now, are there any good squash/badminton courts in central Chennai?
What do people usually do during the weekends?( so far I have heard about hashing and the chennai trekking club).
