Looking for a new life in Chennai

Dear all, because of the displacement of my company from Italy to India, I have moved yesterday to Sipcot Industrial Growth Center near Chennai (about 1 hour). As you well know becasue of traffic I will have to live in Oragadam, but over there there's NOTHING except industries.
Because I would like to work for living despite live for working, I need your help!
I like all sports, above all badminton and sailing, and I would like to have a life outside work. My idea is to move to Chennai sometimes during the week and above all from friday evening to sunday evening. Do you know how I could find a solution to avoid to burry me in my company?
Any suggestion will be extremely appreciated!!!
