Service People ! Man! (Chennai)

I had so much trouble trying to organise a plumber, carpenter and gardener today. I called a few companies from the telephone directory around 10:30AM . At least three people said they would come by 12 . Not ONE landed up!

This has been an ongoing trouble in the last six months. People say "yes madam, I will come" and never land up. I have such trust issues ! Thing is that once I wait and they do not arrive, I get upset and go into an overdrive of trying to fix the situation.

I am thinking to myself this evening, I should have just relaxed. Was it worth spending so much time obsessing about an uncontrollable situation ?

Anyways, I have another man who will definitely come tomorrow morning :-)
Anyone's had a similar experience?
