Chiang Mai Information

hi,

I'm planning to visit Chiang Mai in the new year and would be grateful if anyone could offer some information regarding Hotels/guesthouses.

I'm looking to stay around the city for Protected content depending on how easy it will be to obtain the correct Visas.

I'm hoping to find somewhere that will be quiet as a good nights sleep is very important to me due to a slight back problem. I understand Chiang Mai is a busy city so perfect silence will be almost impossible but I have to try and look after myself the best way I can.
