Considering the Leap.... (Chiang Mai)

Hi Everyone. Our family is planning a move to Chiang Mai and we wanted to get your initial impressions on our plans. We're experienced localized expats (Husband and Wife, 2 high school aged daughters) and tend to live by local, rather than Western standards. We're planning on leaving the corporate world behind and stay for awhile and were hoping a budget of roughly 110,000 baht inclusive per month would be sufficient for a comfortable lifestyle. Thoughts?
