ATTN: NATIVE SPEAKERS of RUSSIAN IN CHICAGO
Company I am working for, Jibbigo, a Pittsburgh-based speech research and voice translation software lab, we are looking for fluent, native speakers of Russian to participate a fun and easy recording project in Chicago. Participants will meet with one of our staff and record about two hours' worth of Russian sentences, phrases or words. The recordings will primarily be used to build a voice recognition application for mobile phones. And your voice will be a part of a large data base of Russian language for our launch of our Russian Translation App. Visit ( Protected content ) for a better understanding of the company, and you will see our apps and how they work for other languages at the App Store as well as Android Market.
Participants will be paid $17.50 cash per hour for their time ($35 for a full session). The sessions require wearing a headset microphone and reading Russian sentences, phrases, words, or numbers one at a time. Anyone who is a native speaker of Russian is eligible for this project.
The majority of the recordings will take place in Lakeview. Directions will be provided when you schedule your appointment with Jim Meacci ( Protected content ) A possibility exists for participants who are well acquainted or those who live in close proximity to one another to schedule an on-location session.

Again, we are looking for native-born, male and female, Russian speakers only. You do not need to be a US citizen to participate in this project. It’s fun and it doesn’t take long and it’s a great way to make some extra cash.
