Voltage issue (Chicago)

Hi all,
Please could you give me some feedback on to bring or not to bring my electrical things related to the kitchen and my TV which has Swedish outlet and is adapted to a Protected content outlet. Is it better to sell it before and buy American or is it easy to fix adapters to all your electric stuff?

Boring issue but still... :)
