Discover Gagauzia (Chisinau)

Dear InterNations Moldova Community,

We organise a new trip to explore the unique Gagauzian culture. Who are these mysterious Gagauz people? What is so special about them? Come with us and you will experience a true traditional Gagauz life.

The trip will take place Sunday, September 18.

The trip includes:
-a walk in Comrat (the capital of Gagauzia);
-visiting Beshalma village and the Museum of Gagauz culture;
-having a Gagauz lunch in a village courtyard;
-visiting Djoltai village and the local original museum;
-a workshop of traditional painting on “susak” (special type of pumpkin);
-a snack before departure.

This will be one-day trip full of discovering, emotions, good food and support for the local communities in Gagauzia that are striving to preserve their traditions.
