Coaching, training and help settling (Christchurch)

Hi all,

My name is Charlotte Heystek, I’m from the Netherlands and I’ve been living in Christchurch since May Protected content . Previous to New Zealand, I’ve lived in Thailand and Japan, and I’ve travelled around Europe and South East Asia a bit.

Not too long ago, I started my own business -read between the minds- to help people and businesses work, live and communicate better in intercultural contexts. Specialised in training, coaching, research, I can help you with cultural sensitivity training, expat and re-entry coaching and localisation research. In doing that, I draw from my experiences growing up bi-culturally, moving and working internationally and even my Masters in Intercultural Communication (yes -that’s a degree).

If you have recently moved (back) to Christchurch or Canterbury, and you’d like a hand getting around, I would love to help you (re)settle. I know a thing or two about visas (I not only applied for many, I also used to work at the Dutch Embassy in Thailand), I’m familiar with the challenges you deal with when moving to a new country and I know what you go through when you come back to your home country after being overseas for a while. On another note, if you work for a company with culturally diverse teams and you think they can use a hand in working together and communicating, I’d love to help there too.

I look forward to meeting all of you and if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch. Drop me a line at Protected content or give me a ring at Protected content .

Cheers,
Charlotte
