british TV in Germany - without satalite? (Cologne)

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to get some information on receiving British TV here in Germany. There are options, but unfortunately most of them require a satalite dish - wich I haven't got.
My cable provider doesn't offer any British TV channels. There is a DVB-S receiver (Digitalbox Protected content HD 6i) that can receive British TV channels via Internet, which could be an option for my, but I was wondering if any of you have experience on that subject.
Do any of you have British TV at home? How do you receive it?
I'm grateful for any ideas or suggestions you guys might have.
