HELP! Stevie the Dog in need of a new loving home (Colombo)

Hi there,

We've thought long and hard about taking our dog (Stevie) to Istanbul with us when we move there in a few months, but we think it's much better for her if she stays in Sri Lanka. We took her in when she was only a few months old, we found her in a gutter, abandoned on the streets after her mum had apparently been run over a few days before. She is now 3+ years old, a timid, but very happy, obedient and loving dog.

She would make a great family pet, and is fantastic with young children. Always playing with our neighbours kid on the front. In the 3+ years we have had her, we've not once seen a vicious side to her. She's a big softy.

We are looking for a dog loving person or family to take her off our hands. We really, really, REALLY do not want to put her in a kennel or dog home as she is just not used to that kind of environment. If you know of anyone who would be interested in taking her in please do let me know!
