Places to stay in Colombo

Apart from the bigger establishments (Taj Samudra,Cinnamon Grand, Cinnamon Lakeside, Galadari, Hilton, Ramada, Galle Face Hotel) there are a few options of places to stay overnight in Colombo. Do add any you know of and can particularly recommend. There's a boutique hotel near Galle Face Hotel that supposed to be good, but I dont have the details.

this is a nice place, with garden right off havelock road (near the havelock towers). word of warning, order your food and order the bill at the same time. food is excellent (fantastic curries and fusion sri lankan western food) but service needs some upgrade!
