Prgrams for Children (Colombo)

Hi all, I have just joined and I work for the Australian High Commission in Colombo as their community Liaison Officer. I have had a some request about about classes and other activities arranged for kids. Not being a parent, I am a little unsure of where to start. Can anyone give me a mailing address's, name of groups or a forum I could join so I can keep up to date with this information.
