Running Clubs and/or Fitness Classes (Colombo)

Hi all, recently moved to Colombo, I'm here for a year while I study a post-grad program online. I'm keen on running, are there any groups or clubs that meet up to go for runs in Colombo? Are there any 5km or 10km races held in Colombo? Anyone know of spinning or other classes going on at local gyms? I called Global Fitness in Colombo Protected content offer Yoga & Bollywood Dancing classes, not exactly what I'm looking for! :)
