Inspired by NYC Barefoot Run, posemand.dk and Back2Basics is hosting CPH Barefoot Run – an informal and unconventional afternoon event, where you jog/run with peers and friends and experience the fantastic sensation of letting your feet do what they do best – namely, to run without the interference from the bulky running shoes .
Time: Saturday, 27 November, 14:00
Location: Utterslev Mose, Copenhagen NV
Track: 2.85 km – (You are free to run as many rounds as you want)
CPH Barefoot Run encourages you to run barefoot , but it is not a requirement. You are welcome to run in your Five Fingers or running shoes.
The event will take place in Utterslev Mose in Copenhagen, and the meeting place is on the grass area (green triangle) Emdrup Church (grass area at the end).
The circular route is 2.85km ( Protected content )
The program is as follows:
• 13:45: Meet on the grass area (green triangle) Emdrup Church
• 14:00: Warm up lead by physiotherapist Michael Schjerling from Back2Basics
• 14:15: Basic exercises and advice for barefoot running in flat shoes
• 14:30: Running begins. (You decide the number of rounds to take)
When you are finished running, there will be ample time to chat and exchange experiences as well as get advice about running in barefeet.
